New Digitized Research Titles on Gale Virtual Reference Library

We have added new research titles to the Gale Virtual Reference Library, which you can use anytime from your office or home. You can view, print, email, download, bookmark, and listen to your search results. You can also translate material into eleven different languages. This collection now includes:

-Collaborative Grantseeking: A Guide to Designing Projects, Leading Partners, and Persuading Sponsors, 2011

-Encyclopedia of Criminological Theory, 2v, 2010

-The Encyclopedia of Political Science, 5v, 2011

-Federal Regulatory Directory, 14th ed., 2010

-International Directory of Company Histories, volumes 1-85, 1988-2007

-Political and Civic Leadership: A Reference Handbook, 2v, 2010

-Whitaker’s Almanack, 2011 ed., 2010

-Who’s Buying by Age, 5th ed., 2010

-Who’s Buying by Race and Hispanic Origin, 6th ed., 2010

To use the Gale Virtual Reference Library, click on the State Employees tab from our website, and scroll down through the links to Gale Databases. Click on Gale Virtual Reference Library, and you will be presented with several search options.  To select individual titles to search, click on “browse” next to the publication title search box to see the list of titles. Check the boxes next to the titles you want to search. You can talk to a librarian about any of our Gale subscription products by calling us at 614-644-7051, sending email to refhelp@library.ohio.gov, or chatting on KnowItNow24x7 during regular office hours from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
