The State Library of Ohio invites you to our training room on May 4 to view a North Carolina Library Association-sponsored webinar on data in the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey.
The American Community Survey replaced the decennial census long form in 2010. The ACS has a very different methodology than the decennial census and data are not comparable between the two. This presentation will focus on the differences between the two surveys and will provide tips for users. The webinar is intended for anyone new to using the American Community Survey or anyone who wants to know more about the differences in the two surveys.
The webinar recording and slides will be archived along with other presentations in the Help! I’m an Accidental Government Information Librarian Presents… series.
The presenter is Michele Hayslett, Data Services Librarian at the University Library of UNC at Chapel Hill. Contact Audrey Hall to reserve a seat in the training room if you will be joining us.
