State Library of Ohio and The Ohio State University Extension to Offer Program for Public Library Employees

![]() OSU Extension and public libraries share several common goals such as engaging people in lifelong learning and focusing on youth.Because of these and other commonalities, the State Library of Ohio and Ohio State University Extension are planning an informative program for public library employees in early 2010 on opportunities to further develop collaborations with area Extension offices through programs and projects.
Ohio State University Extension has identified the current key issues for Ohioans as:
An overview of practical programs from OSU Extension on nutrition, family finances, parenting enrichment, urban gardening and other themes as well as promoting library materials that relate to the programs will be discussed. Highlights of programs that relate to the current key issues for Ohioans: economic stability, healthy lifestyles and educational success as identified by OSU Extension will also be included.
