Grand opening picture from April 13, 2007 The Bookmobile is used to provide library service to schools, preschool, daycare and Head Start programs, and neighborhoods throughout the library service area. “The arrival of a new bookmobile is almost as exciting as bringing home a new baby,” said Mobile Services Manager Jon Hershey shortly after its arrival. “This bookmobile was designed to be a solid and reliable workhorse that will allow us to serve our customers for many years to come.”
