Ohio Workforce Training & Adult Education

The University System of Ohio’s network of Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) programs and Adult Workforce Education (AWE) centers serve the state’s adult population—including non-traditional students who left high school early, high school graduates who need additional skills before enrolling in college, working adults who wish to pursue post-secondary credentials, and employers that want to invest in their workers through customized training. Ohioline, principally produced by Ohio State University Extension offers bulletins and fact sheets on a wide array of subjects such as In Over Your Head: Life Saving Strategies for Financial Crisis and Cooking for One or Two. Ohioans can find research based information on yards and gardens, families, youth, food, and other topics.
