GEORGE BARNUM presents “Notable Days: Snapshots from 150 Years of Service to the Nation"
George Barnum is Agency Historian at the U.S. Government Printing Office. A graduate of Cleveland State University and the Kent State University School of Library Science, he has worked in and around the Federal Depository Library Program as a Depository Librarian at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and as a manager in the Library Programs Service at GPO. He has taught courses in government information and archival administration and coordinated GPO's 150th anniversary observances in 2011 including the publication of a new official history Keeping America Informed: The U.S. Government Printing Office 1861-2011: 150 Years of Service to the Nation and curation of the special exhibit of the same title.
