InThisTogetherOhio graphicIn adherence to best practices and guidance from the Governor’s office brought about in response to COVID-19, the State Library moved to a “remote work” status effective March 18, 2020.  State Library staff remain available remotely during normal business hours.  Thank you for your patience.  Online resources remain available 24/7.  Loan periods have been extended for physical items currently checked-out and we ask that patrons refrain from returning these items to the library.  The option for requesting items for new check-outs has been deactivated.  State employees are encouraged to access online library resources through this website or at MyOhio.gov.  Click here for Coronavirus Information and Resources.

In 2017, the State Library of Ohio celebrated 200 years of library services to Ohio. Click on 'About' then 'Bicentennial Celebration' for more info.
