Gen, the incorrigible young thief, narrates an unforgettable adventure full of danger, obstacles, and the difficult truth that things are not always what they seem. The magus is the most powerful advisor to the King of Sounis. He's a scholar, not a wizard, and definitely not a thief. When he needs something stolen, he pulls a young thief from the King's prison to do the job for him. Gen is a thief and proud of it, with this one chance to win his freedom.
