Final Erie County Conservation League Firing Range Removal Site Evaluation Report for NASA’s Plum Brook Station

NASA has issued the Final Erie County Conservation League (ECCL) Firing Range Removal Site Evaluation Report addressing contamination at former pistol and rifle firing ranges and trap and skeet ranges at its Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio. The report describes the former ECCL Firing Range that is located adjacent to NASA’s Plum Brook Station perimeter fence. The report recommends Non-time Critical Removal Action for soil removal and provides the rationale for this recommendation. Written comments may be mailed to the NASA Glenn Research Center, Environmental Management Office, 21000 Brookpark Rd, MS 6-7, Cleveland, OH 44135. Email comments may be submitted to john.p.brodt@nasa.gov. The Removal Site Evaluation Report is currently available for public review, and comments will be accepted from May 4, 2020 to June 2, 2020.
