Ohio Library Community
The Ohio library community includes state, county, and local government institutions and fee-based membership non-government entities.
Examples of publicly funded government institutions include: the State Library of Ohio, Ohio Public Information Network (OPLIN), INFOhio, and OhioLINK. Examples of other government institutions include county law , local public, K-12 public school, and public college and university libraries.
Examples of non-government fee-based membership library associations include (Academic Library Association of Ohio (ALAO), Ohio Education Library Media Association (OELMA), and Ohio Library Council (OLC). Other examples of non-government entities include private k-12 school, academic, corporate, and some privately funded museum libraries.
