The newest addition to SWON’s Tech to Lend program is Google’s AR/VR Expeditions Kit. Join our Emergent Trends & Technology Educator, Emily Wages, to learn all about Google Expeditions, including how to use and borrow SWON’s kit, how to use Google Cardboard and the Expeditions app (without a kit), and discover a trove of resources to use in your library or classroom. Emily Wages is the Emerging Trends & Technology Educator at SWON Libraries. She attended Miami University for her BS in Education and earned her MLIS at Kent State University. She has worked with adults, teens, and children in libraries for over five years. Before SWON, her work as a library programming specialist concentrated on creating and presenting programs on a variety of topics including basic to advanced technology, maker projects, and community health and wellness.
