Jen Johnson Promoted to Electronic Resources Librarian
The State Library of Ohio is pleased to announce that Jen Johnson was recently promoted to Electronic Resources Librarian in our Research & Catalog Services Department. Jen will focus on effectively managing electronic resources while also providing reference and research services to state employees and other patrons of the State Library.
Jen has been a Librarian in Research & Catalog Services since July 2013. She participated in Library Leadership Ohio 2014, held in July 2014 and will work with a team focusing on digitization. She was also selected to participate and completed ILEAD USA Ohio 2013, an immersive one-year continuing education program that develops library leaders through projects based on community needs using technology.
She is an active member of the Ohio Library Council (OLC) Subject and Special Collections Division and the Convention and Expo Local Arrangements Committee, busily helping prepare for the OLC Convention in October 2014.
Prior to joining the State Library, Jen worked at the Ohioana Library and Worthington Libraries. Jen has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography from the Ohio State University.
