Government Information Library Consultant Audrey Kise has retired after more than 26 years with the State Library of Ohio. The State Library Board recognized Audrey for her dedication and service with the following resolution during its meeting yesterday.


Audrey Kise has been a dedicated and valued staff member of the State Library since 1987; and

WHEREAS, Audrey Kise, has provided an unparalleled level of professional service to the State Library through her work coordinating and monitoring all aspects of the Government Documents program at the State Library, a federal regional depository; and

WHEREAS, Audrey Kise has provided exceptional service as a liaison between the State Library and depository libraries and with other organizations including the Ohio Government Documents Roundtable (GODORT), the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP), and the Government Printing Office (GPO); and

WHEREAS, Audrey Kise has been an advocate for access to and awareness of government information; and

WHEREAS, Audrey Kise has contributed in numerous ways to the success of many programs and services offered by the State Library;

NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that on this day, March 20, 2014, the State Library Board, on behalf of the State Library of Ohio and its customers, hereby thanks Audrey Kise for her efforts, appreciates her contributions to the services and programs of the State Library of Ohio, congratulates her on her retirement, and wishes her the best in the future.
